A drain that clogs once is an accident. A drain that clogs on a schedule has something wrong with it, and clearing it again will only reset the timer.
Grease is a coating, not a plug
Kitchen waste cools and hardens along the pipe wall, narrowing the line gradually. Cabling bores a hole through the middle; the coating is still there. Hydro jetting scours the wall back to full diameter, which is why it lasts far longer on kitchen lines.
Defects catch debris

Gurgling drains and slow flow with no visible blockage often point to a blocked or improperly configured vent. The fix is at the vent, not in the drain.
Skip the chemical cleaners
They rarely clear a real blockage, they damage older pipe, and they make the line hazardous for whoever opens it next. Mechanical clearing is safer and more effective.
